Technical description
Polishing formulations and thermoset compounds need hardness, gloss and the ability to carry oils and pigments without bleeding. Carnauba Wax Type 3 is a natural vegetable wax made of cerides — esters of fatty acids and higher alcohols — with the highest melting point and hardness among vegetable waxes, plus high mineral oil absorption. It delivers uniform pigment spreading and assists mold release.
We recommend evaluating polymer matrix, thermal cycle and process conditions before setting optimal dosage. Our application team supports lab and pilot trials through industrial qualification.
